ADMINISTRATIVE & STAFF POSITIONS


  • Director of Marketing & Communications

    Would you like to tell the story of a classical Christian school that began in 2000 and now includes 675 students and over 100 faculty and staff who have been drawn from locations across our city, our country, and even the world?  


    Would you like to join a team of friends, not merely colleagues, who are committed to shaping the hearts and minds of students through our shared efforts? 


    Can you work with administrators to describe a compelling vision of education, one that has placed our school in a leadership position within the classical Christian community? 


    Veritas School is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications who will create clear and effective messaging for both internal and external audiences that is consistent with the school’s mission and vision. The Director of Marketing & Communications is a key member of the Advancement team and oversees a number of areas of school communication, including: 

    • the weekly newsletter 
    • marketing materials 
    • development materials 
    • the annual magazine 
    • the website 
    • visual communication of the Veritas brand 

    A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a similar field is required. Aptitude with words and editing is a must; experience in graphic design, web editing, and photography is a plus. On-the-job growth is expected, and you will be surrounded by an experienced team who supports you and enjoys working together.

  • Executive Assisstant

    Do you enjoy working on a variety of tasks involving administrative duties, event planning, and program management? Are you execution-driven, with strong organizational skills, and an ability to multitask? If yes, read on.


    The Executive Assistant works alongside senior administration to provide organizational support in daily operations, program management, event planning, and special projects.


    The school environment is often fast-paced, so the ideal candidate will be flexible, task-oriented, and highly organized. Most importantly, the assistant must be someone with deep Christian commitment, identity, and practice who is excited to work at a school committed to the Christian formation of the next generation.

You will be surrounded by an experienced team who loves working together on our lovely historic campus in the Northside neighborhood of Richmond, VA.

  • Lower School Drama Director

    The Veritas Conservatory is seeking a Lower School Drama Director for the 2024-25 school year. The drama director is responsible for putting on one after-school production (three shows) that includes students in grades 3-6. Duties include conducting student auditions, directing weekly rehearsals, and overseeing parent volunteers. The production title will be chosen in collaboration with Veritas staff, and the length of the drama session (typically 10-12 weeks) and dates of the production are negotiable.
